PROF. DR. DR. GERHARD ROTH, UNIVERSITY OF BREMEN


The keynote speech at the see conference traditionally has the task of providing a look at our sector. The subject in 2009 was “External Worlds - Internal Pictures.” Prof. Dr. Gerhard Roth talked about perceiving and processing pictures from a brain researcher’s point of view. Prof. Dr. Roth has been teaching behavioural physiology at the University of Bremen since 1976, where he is now also Director of the Brain Research Institute. The scientist, who has doctorates in both philosophy and zoology, specialises in researching cognitive and emotional neurophysiology.
